Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. In the year of 2006, Yutong Group sold 22198 units of buses. The core industry of the group--- Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yutong Bus" ) is located in Zhengzhou Industrial Park and now has developed into the largest large and medium-sized bus manufacturing base with the most advanced technology in Asia.

In 1997, the company became the first domestic bus enterprise listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange with the stock code 600066, becoming a long-established blue-chip potential stock in China's A stock market. The main economic indicators of the company have been growing rapidly for ten continuous years and Yutong has obtained AAA credit of ICBC for eight consecutive years and was honored with "Export Marketing Award of the year 2006" by BAAV and "Best Bus Manufacturer of the Year" in 2002, 2005 and 2006.

In Apr. 2006, "Three Ministries and Commissions" like Science and Technology Department embarked jointly on the pilot work of enterprises with independent innovation, and Yutong was designated as such an enterprise. In August of the same year, Yutong was titled "National Vehicle CBU Export Base Enterprise". Yutong Brand ranked 74 in "China's 500 Most Valuable Brands" of the Year 2006, standing first in the same industry with its brand value rising again to RMB 7.016 billion. Yutong also won "China Brand Award of the Year" (NO.1) issued by World Brand Lab. In Aug. 2006, Yutong passed the special investigation carried out by General Administration of Quality Inspection and Quarantine of the P.R.C and won the first "Exemption of I/E Products from Inspection" in China's vehicle industry.

Now, after many years' development, Yutong Bus has climbed up to the leader of the same industry with its integrated strength and also formed its unique enterprise culture and management concept. With market oriented, Yutong carries on its R&D based on the market and programs its products rationally. It has the first post-doctor science and development working station and the only state-level technology center in the same industry of China. Yutong established the entire-process quality control supervision system in order to strengthen the quality of the product. In 2004, Yutong was evaluated by an internationally recognized quality authentication institute---Germany Quality System Authentication Company, and successfully passed ISO/TS16949: 2002 authentication, which is the first authentication in China's bus industry, indicating that China's bus industry represented by Yutong has been synchronously geared to the international quality management. Yutong has begun its establishment of management information system since 1994, making full use of different kinds of information technology so as to upgrade the inner management level.
