Recently, the ceremony of the first exporting China Higer hydrogen fuel cell city buses to Singapore was held in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, which were jointly developed by China Suzhou King Long Bus and Tsinghua University and is China's first export of hydrogen fuel cell buses.

The Higer hydrogen fuel cell city buses exported will be used as the official new energy model service vehicles in the first Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in August 2010. The Higer hydrogen fuel cell city buses are jointly developed and produced by China Suzhou King Long Bus and Tsinghua University's new energy vehicle engineering center. The maximum speed of Higer hydrogen fuel cell city buses is up to 80km, the action radius is up to 200km, with zero emissions. Higer claims for this vehicle a higher vehicle reliability, more reasonable structural design, and lower cost compared with previous generations of hydrogen fuel cell city buses.
