The body structure applies CATIA three-dimensional design software to performance CAE finite element analysis. In particular, the design of engine cabin can be deemed as an evident feature of this series of vehicle. Because the engine does not locate in compartment, this makes the noise in compartment is lower than that created in front-mounted engine buses using engine of same grade. The front wall repairing gate is easy to open, which is convenient for the routine inspection and maintenance of engine. For the traditional vehicle, the maintenance can be made with the condition of opening the heavy engine cover. And the engine hood underneath instrument desk is needed to be opened when overhauling and maintaining. Because there is no large traditional engine hood in compartment, the space in the front passenger door in compartment is wider, which effectively improves the use ratio of space inside the vehicle. Light-colored internal decorations provide a gentle and comfortable riding environment.

It is reported that the left rudder of buses sold to Hong Kong should be changed to the right rudder to satisfy Hong Kong's laws and regulations. In addition, such buses have to pass the Hong Kong Transport Department's certification. Huanghai medium-sized buses have not only passed the internationally recognized ISO/TS16949 authorization, but conducted 30,000-km performance test under extreme conditions designed for this series of vehicle and passed the rollover test. The body frame's strength satisfies ECE-R66 regulations of Large Bus Upper Structure's Strength.
Meanwhile reporters also learn that after Huanghai medium-sized buses are sold to Hong Kong, 6.4-m ones are mainly used as school children's shuttle buses and 7.9-m ones as city short-distance buses (for example, from community to subway station or shopping center).
