Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd.  the new leader of the energy manufacturer in China, recently announced that the first luxurious pure electric buses had been put into commercial use in Shanghai city after independent research and development.

Ankai new pure electric buses, with super power capacitor and highest speed of 82km/h, realized zero discharge waste, suitable for urban transit system and tourist routes. It was reported that  battery life of Ankai pure electric buses would be used for 8 years.

In addition, Ankai has been expanding vehicle production capacity, in order to meet the market demand after commercial applications. Expected by 2012, the new energy passenger buses will be a capacity of 3,000 sets.
