At China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks and Components (Bus & Truck Expo) launched on April 22, Higer Bus was honored with the three rewards of "China Bus & Truck Cup" Best Highway Bus Reward, Best Public Transportation Bus Reward and Best New Energy Bus Reward, winning recognition from the expert judges, and praise from visitors and industry peers.
After receiving multiple rewards at CIBC International Exhibition on Buses and Components and Busworld Asia 2009, Higer released another five competitive models of buses at Beijing Bus & Truck Expo. Higer Bus has received 11 rewards by far at exhibitions of the year 2009. At this exhibition, integral high-end passenger bus KLQ6125A was honored with "Best Highway Bus Reward", extra-large city passenger bus KLQ6140GQ was honored with "Best Public Transportation Bus Award", and hydrogen fueled low-floor city passenger bus KLQ6129GQH2 was honored with "Best New Energy Bus Reward".
In the morning of April 22, Cao Xingyi, the President of Shanxi GiantEX Trans-Trade Ltd, headed directly for the high-end double-deck passenger coach - Scania-Higer A98 as soon as he arrived at the booth of Higer. It is understood that he arranged time to attend this exhibition especially for the observation and review of the Higer bus as he had missed the Bus Expo in Shanghai early this April. The Scania-Higer A98 model interested him most; he was quite satisfied with this model after a comprehensive analysis over the factors including brand strength, product quality and model adaptability. Similar with Mr. Cao, many principals of passenger bus and public transportation enterprises from Shenzhen, Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and Liaoning headed for Higer Bus at this exhibition after knowing that five new competitive models of Higer Bus would be displayed at this exhibition; overseas visitors from Africa, East Europe, Middle East, etc. also frequently dropped by the booth of Higer.
There were no noisy announcement ceremonies, and the professional staff were introducing and explaining every model on display to the visitors; there was no luxury booth design, which reflected the easy and simple style of Higer; the open rest area and easy atmosphere at the booth of Higer drew attention from a large number of visitors - the rest area was full of visitors, and even more around the models on display. Environmental protection should not only be an issue concerned with the manufacturing process of buses; environmental concerns should also be reflected at the organization of exhibitions. From the suggestion of using environment-friendly handbags to the noise-free atmosphere of exhibition booth as well as the recycling of booth construction materials, the style of Higer has set an example for professional bus exhibitions in China.
