October 26, 2009, Golden Dragon Bus WVTA Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held in Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. Oliver Rothert, the General Manager of the Traffic Service Dept of South China Area, TuV Rheinland Group , attended this ceremony to celebrate this moment specially. Golden Dragon Awarded WVTA Certification

This is the first WVTA certificate of EU acquired by Chinese coach manufacturer since the new regulation enacted by European Union from April 2009. Meanwhile, this certificate shows that Xiamen Golden Dragon is qualified to design and manufacture the highest level coach of the world.

In 2007, Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd exported its product to 40 different countries and regions, the export sales amount exceeded 143 million U.S. dollars, and the exported vehicles reached a total of 11,000 units, ranking the top among the domestic bus industry. It's introduced by the engineer from Xiamen Golden Dragon Export Dept that from 2007, Xiamen Golden Dragon started European Union certification program and set up the corresponding office for this in March of 2008. In the past time, under the high-level attention by the leadership of Xiamen Golden Dragon, from manufacture to quality management, all strictly followed and met the European Union certification requirements, this made the product quality increase rapidly.

XML6121 Intercity Bus

The two certified bus models are XML6937 tour bus and XML6121 intercity bus. High-level and strict standards are formulated for the WVTA of EU in the automotive emission, safety performance and environmental protection, but these two vehicles obtain the permit in the aspects of safe, reliability, energy-saving environmental protection, style design and outstanding cost performance.
