In order to alleviate the traffic peak, 15 units of 18-meter Kinglong BRT buses will join in Xiamen BRT system in a few day, with the passenger capacity of about 150 people.

Different from the former 12-meter BRT buses, Xiamen City recently decided to put some 18-meter-long buses into bus rapid transit to solve the crowd situation due to the carrying capacity of longer vehicle about twice than the former rapid transit vehicle. At present, the preparatory work has begun.

It's reported that since Bus Rapid Transit opened in Xiamen, its safety, high speed, convenience, low price and other advantages have been widely recognized by the public.
