Feb 5, 2010, Beiqi Foton AUV Bus signed another purchasing order of 300 new energy buses with Beijing Public Transport Company after the first batch of 800 new energy buses late 2008. With six-year strategic layout on new energy bus market, Foton AUV bus won more and more recognition by the customers.

Since founded in 2003, Foton AUV has concentrated on environment-friendly buses especiallly new energy. In late 2009, 50 Foton AUV pure electric buses were delivered to Beijing Public Transport Company, following the contract of 800 new energy city buses and chassises signed by Beijing public transportation and Foton AUV in 2008, 75 hybrid buses went into Taiwan market,  another 30 hybrid buses purchased by Guangzhou, and 40 hybrid buses bidding for Hangzhou maket.
