1. Higer Bus Safety Classroom
Since 2008, Higer Bus Safety Classroom has been launched to provide safety training on safety management and safety driving for the operators and the drivers. In 2009, the total of 20 lectures were hold and 1900 participants joined with, widely welcome by the customers.
2. The first to Pass through the Verification of ISO14001 Environmental Management
On 10 February 2009, Higer bus became the first bus manufacturer to pass through the Verification of ISO14001 Environmental Management on-site audit, which would greatly help Higer bus opening the international market over green trade barriers.
3. Higer Bus - the Prop for the Movie in Memory of 5.12 Earthquake
For ten years, Higer bus has kept an effort of endeavor to take its social responsibility when building out the achievements in passenger bus industry. As early as December 2006, the first primary shool aided by Higer bus was established in Zunyi Tongzi County. Meanwhile, Higer bus funded in another 17 shool and charitied the first contribution for Wenchuan earthquake-area.
For the memory of 5.12 Earthquake, Higer bus decided to be the prop in the special movie released in Beijing on 12th May 2009.
4. Higer Bus Awarded "China's 500 Most Valuable Brand" again
On 16 June 2009, the World Brand Lab announced the list of 2009 China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in Beijing. Higer bus occupied the 112th with the brand value of 7.116 billion Yuan, an increase of 980 million Yuan compared with 6.136 billion Yuan in 2008.
5. Higer Bus Becomes One of the Enterprise for Exemption from Export Inspection
In July 2009, Higer bus got the certification of the Enterprise for Exemption from Export Inspection with high-quality products and services in overseas market, representing the highest honor for the exporting enterprise.
6. Higer Bus Passed the Rollover Test of ECE Regulation three times
On July 31th 2009, Higer bus passed the rollover test of 11-meter coach on National Bus Quality Supervision Center, fully meets the European standards. This was the third time for Higer bus to pass the ECE regulation.
7. 325 Higer buses break the Guinness World Record
On August 21, 2009, a special Ramadan Ceremony was held in Qatar, of which 325 Higer buses became the protagonist of this ceremony. With a total length of 5 km of the team, to maintain 10-15 meters away between 325 buses and 20 km per hour speed, Higer bus showed the world with its charm and courage, which also broke the Guinness world record set by Germany's 119 buses this January.
8. New logo "H" Showed Off
Since May 2009, Higer bus adopted new logo "H". At the end of Dec 2009, there were 10134 vehicles with new logo.
9. Scania-Higer Touring Launched at the Busworld
At the Busworld exhibition in Kortrijk, Belgium, Scania launched a new coach: the Scania-Higer Touring, built in partnership with the Chinese bus bodybuilder Higer. Together the two manufacturers would produce buses in China for the world market, which was a first in bus manufacture.
10. Higer Bus Build Up the first "5A Safety Guiding System"
In 2009, Higer bus established the first "5A Safety Guiding System" in China bus industy, referring to safety awareness, safety coach, safety management, safety service and safety driving to safeguard the whole bus operation.
