On 9 March 2010, 76 Kinglong luxury tourist buses were formally delivered to 2010 Shanghai World Expo as the high class Travel Line Bus.

It is known that Shanghai Public Transport Bus Company publicly invited the nationwide famous bus builders to bid for direct line buses and Kinglong won the bidding. There are 56 buses for the operation of World Expo direct line and 20 buses for public affairs.

Wu Zengqiang, general manager of the Third company of  Shanghai Public Transport Bus Company said that Kinglong XMQ6126Y3 tourist bus complied with the concept of harmony, science and technology, environment protection of World Expo with the mature technology, nice appearance, stability, economy, safety and environmental-protection.

Kinglong XMQ6126Y3 tourist bus is a 12-meter bus targeting the top tourist passenger transport market and once obtained the BAAV annual awards. Since launching, the accumulated sales volume of this model exceeds 2000 units. It is the good reputation that makes the development of electric environmental bus, XMQ6126YE, listed in the national recommendation of new energy models with the financial subsidy. It is possible that XMQ6126YE will be seen during the Shanghai World Expo.
