Chinese bus and coach manufacturer Zonda International, which belongs to Zonda Group, the S.J.C International Investment Group and Jicama recently signed a formal agreement in the capital of South Africa, Cape Town, stating that from May 2010 onwards Zonda Bus would export 7,800 buses to South Africa through several batches. The total amount reached to US$0.169 billion (RMB1.318 billion). It is the ever biggest single order for Zonda Bus.

The buses delivered will be fulfilling the South-African regulations. It took Zonda Bus  more than one year to go through more than 200 inspections, and finally passing all the local certifications. The two bus models of Zonda Bus, which are part of this agreement, are the YCK6139HGN luxury coach and the YCK6603 bus. For Zonda Bus this enormous order is an important step in expanding its activities on the African markets.
